PHP Barcamp Austria 2010

Accomanied by two friends of mine we arrived in the late afternoon at the Hotel Europa Salzburg. After checkin we went to the welcome party in a nearby brewery. The party was well visitied, but there were a noticable low rate of austrian participants.
The each day started at about 10.00hrs and after the usual organizational stuff a barcamp always starts with (accepting talks, voting and scheduling) the talks started at about 11.15hrs. The schedule was commendable and incredible fast registered on joind.in so the participiants had the chance to vote right after the talks. There were two slots with about 5 talks in parallel with very differnt topics like regular expressions, documentation, and best practices.
All in all it was a very nice barcamp which I intend to participate again in the future. At this point I'd like to say many thanks to the organizers and helper for their great work and huge efforts they made this barcamp a big success.
Last but not least I want to call out to every austrian PHP developer to be more active at a PHP barcamp to get to know each other and have a platform to exchange knowleadge and wisdom for your daily work.

Sounds awesome - especially since it was in Saltzburg. Hope you had a chance to check out the Augustiner. :)
